PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Innovative Mooring Device Secures Boats without Use of Knots

Minneapolis, MN - At the Northwest Sportshow March 21-24, Quick Cleat LLC will be showcasing their innovative mooring device that secures anchor rope, drift socks, and mooring lines without the use of knots.

The mooring device, called a Quick Cleat, is available in several sizes to accommodate rope sizes from ¼ to ¾ inch diameter. The Quick Cleat uses a cam-operated design to securely lock an anchor rope, drift sock or mooring line. Rope length adjustments are performed by simply pulling on the rope, allowing for quick one-handed line adjustments while fishing or maneuvering a boat.

Bill Plantan of River Ridge Custom Canoes stated, “We’ve installed the Quick Cleat in every canoe we’ve made since 2006. Our customers love it! The Quick Cleat allows you to raise and lower a bow anchor from the stern of the canoe without having to move. It is strong, and for those who like to anchor and fish, it is a must!”

The Quick Cleat is manufactured and sold by Quick Cleat LLC, a newly formed company in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Quick Cleat brand of products is made in the USA and currently available at www.Quick-Cleat.com.
